Banks County Elementary School will host RED RIBBON WEEK

Banks County Elementary School will host RED RIBBON WEEK from October 24th-October 28th. Red Ribbon week is the nation's largest and longest-running drug-use prevention campaign. Schools across that nation wear Red Ribbons and participate in activities to raise awareness.

Monday: Pajama Day- Drugs Ruin Your Dreams
Tuesday: Team Day-Team Up Against Drugs
Wednesday: Super Hero Day-Join the Fight Against Drugs
Thursday: Hawaiian Day-Waving the Drugs Goodbye
Friday: Book Character Day-Saying "No" to Drugs Shows Character

Ornament Sale by Life Skills Class

The BCES life skills class will pre-sell ornaments from 11/4 to 11/18.
All orders and money are due by November 18th. Checks need to be written out to Banks County Elementary and turned in to Mrs. Elizabeth Peppers.
Ornaments will be decorated and distributed within the first two weeks of December. Ornament designs include “BC Pride” wooden ornaments for $5 and decorated ornaments such as reindeer, snowmen, Christmas trees, snowflakes, and angels for $3.
Sample ornaments will be on display in Mrs. Peppers's classroom.

Connectivity Program

Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), provides eligible low-income households with a $30 monthly subsidy for broadband service. School districts may request any combination of the below options provided by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) and conducted by CTC Technology & Energy (CTC) to promote ACP enrollment for students and their families.
