Banks County Schools will perform their annual Christmas Band and Chorus Concerts this season. All events will be held at the Banks County High School auditorium at 6:00.
December 2nd: BCMS Band and Chorus Christmas Concert
December 8th: BCES Christmas Program
December 13th: BCHS Band and Chorus Christmas Concert
Wednesday, September 14, ends the 30-day grace period to complete the free and reduced meal application. In order to qualify for free/reduced meals, a new application must be completed for this school year, even if the student has qualified for free/reduced meals in the past. Beginning Thursday,
September 15, parents/guardians of students who do not have an approved free/reduced meal application completed will be responsible for meal charges that could have accumulated since the beginning of the school year. If you have not completed this application, please see the link and QR code below, or a paper application is available in the front office at each school.
Grandparents Day Lunch will be held on September 13th for 3rd grade, September 14th for 4th grade, and September 15th for 5th grade. Adult lunch is $4.
Banks County Elementary School held an election for a parent representative to serve a two-year term on the school's governance team on September 1st, 2022.
The Life Skills classroom (Mrs. Peppers' class) is taking applications for our “Sunshine Squad" from August 29th to September 12th. This is a group of students that will act as peer buddies in our classroom, at lunch, and even possibly at Special Olympics.
Students gathered in the media center for pizza, juice and a dessert to celebrate this great accomplishment!
The voting will take place in the front office at Banks County Elementary School from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. All parents/guardians of BCES students are eligible to vote. Please bring a photo ID when you come to BCES to cast your ballot. The nominees are Chris L. Baker, Jason King, Desire' Layfield, Abby Mansfield, John (Andy) Marple, and Daniel J. Smith
We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair at BCES Media Center. Hosted by our staff, this event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our school.
