Banks County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Buses will operate 2 hours later than the normally scheduled pick-up time.

Banks County Schools will be closed on Friday, January 10, due to the predicted inclement weather. All activities will be cancelled for the day. Please stay safe. In preparation for the inclement weather, we would like to remind our families that Banks County Schools has a food pantry available for any family experiencing food insecurities. If you have an immediate need, please reach out to your child’s school at this time for assistance.

Banks County Head Start/Pre-K is accepting applications for 4-year-old children. Spots are limited. Please contact 706-677-2963 for more information.

Banks County Schools wishes our families, students, and faculty a Happy New Year! We are excited to welcome our students back on January 7, 2025. Our faculty will return on January 6, 2025, for a professional learning day.
