Tina Barber, a Banks County Elementary School teacher, has been honored with the Philip Wright Award by Northeast Georgia's Pioneer RESA for her exceptional commitment to improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities. This award, named after special education advocate Philip Wright, recognizes individuals for their service, respect, responsibility, and advocacy for children with special needs.

BCES Fine Arts Night Success!
Our third graders shined at their recorder concert! We are so proud of their musical achievements and thankful for the community's support. Thanks to all who joined us for this wonderful evening!

Congratulations to the Banks County Schools students who participated in the Farm Bureau poster contest!

Mrs. Julie Jackson presented the awards, celebrating the students' creativity and exploration of Georgia agriculture. This contest aims to enhance their understanding of agriculture's vital role. It highlights the diversity of crops and livestock produced in Georgia, such as poultry, beef cattle, dairy, cotton, peanuts, and more.

Mark your calendars for May 17th from 5:00 to 7:30 for an evening of games, food, soak-a-teacher, and fun bidding for our silent auction items.

Congratulations to our February Students of the Month at Banks County Elementary School!

Banks County Primary School and Banks County Elementary School will conduct a lockdown drill this morning, March 13th, 2024.

Please be assured this is a routine safety exercise and is being carried out in close coordination with the Banks County Sheriff's Office to ensure that our schools remain safe for our students, staff, and community.

From March 4th to 22nd, BCES will sell spring spirit wear, including t-shirts, long-sleeved t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and umbrellas. You can submit the order form to your student's homeroom teacher or the front office or use the online link.
