She earned her Ed. D in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia, her M.A. in Elementary Education from Piedmont University, and her B.S. in Sociology from the University of North Georgia.
She is married to her husband, Jeff, and has a daughter named Anna. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, and learning new things.
Mrs. Amanda Grier is the Banks County Elementary School's Assistant Principal.
She has over 24 years of teaching experience as an academic teacher in grades 1, 2, and 3. She also served as a Physical Education teacher. She worked for twelve years in Forsyth County and Hall County, and this began her seventh year at Banks County.
She has been married to her husband, Shane Grier, for twenty years. She has three children, Kamryn, Mark, and Kate.
She enjoys working with students and teachers at Banks County Elementary School. She is the assistant basketball coach at Banks County High School.
