Students will be taking the Georgia Milestones Statewide Assessment from April 28-May 6. This assessment covers the content students have learned this year and provides valuable information regarding student progress.
Georgia Milestones Testing Schedule:
April 28: ELA Section 1
April 29: ELA Section 2
April 30: ELA Section 3
May 4: Math Section 1
May 5: Math Section 2
May 6: Science, 5th grade only
During testing, it is important for students to get plenty of sleep, arrive on time, and eat breakfast. Testing begins at 8:15 a.m. If students arrive after the testing period begins, they will not be permitted into the testing environment and will make up that section in the afternoon. If students are absent, they will make up the missed section of the test on another day.
Testing sections have been spread across several days to limit the amount of time students test each day. We want to encourage and reassure students that their hard work this year has prepared them to finish strong.
