Fifth-Grade Leopards Shine in STEAM Robotics Activity with Mrs. Atwood

Banks County Elementary School 5th graders experienced robotics and snowmen with Mrs. Ally Atwood, the school's media specialist. Ms. Ally Atwood. Students participated in an activity that involved storytelling, robotics, and creativity.

The lesson began with a read-aloud of the tale, 'How to Catch a Snowman.' Activity. Students were grouped into teams and tasked with using their creativity to draw snowmen.

To conclude the activity, students used Ozobot technology to trace their drawings. This activity was a fun way to end January and an excellent demonstration of how learning can be interactive and engaging. It combined elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM), providing the students with a hands-on experience in these crucial fields.
