Picture make-up day will be held on Sept. 23, 2021!
Students in Mrs. Lord's room built nests using all different kinds of materials - but the trick was no glue or sticky materials! In the novel they are reading, The Magic Finger, the main family gets turned into ducks to be a taught a lesson and have to learn how to survive (they’ve been hunting ducks the whole book). On Wednesday, Mrs. Lord's class had the productive struggle of turning into the Gregg Family and experienced what they went through - except students got to use their hands.
Now they’ll take it home and are going to see if any real birds try to live in it! Great job 4th grade students!
