Dr. Fuschetti’s class visited the Capitol Building in Atlanta last week. The students had the opportunity to meet with Senator John Wilkinson, who implemented the Elementary Ag Pilot program for K-5 students and sat in on the Senate floor as voting was taking place. They also had the opportunity to tour the exhibits on the museum floor. Students shared that some of their favorite parts of the visit were meeting the Senator, seeing the glass floor, seeing the two headed cow exhibit, and hearing the bang of the gavel during the voting session. It was a trip and experience that will be remembered.
