​Banks County School System is pleased to announce that Mrs. Blair Loggins was named the Banks County Schools Teacher of the Year.  Mrs. Loggins was awarded at the Banks County Schools Employee of the Year Banquet on November 14, 2016. We are so proud of Mrs. Loggins who is a 5th grade teacher at BCES! 

Banks County Elementary School Spirit Night/Fundraiser will be at FUNOPOLIS! It will be on Monday, November 28th from 5 pm to 8 pm.  That's the Monday we come back to school from Thanksgiving holidays. BCES will receive 10% of all food and play proceeds for this night. The classroom that has the most participation will receive vouchers for FREE Mix it up Icee's in a Funopolis souvenir cup!!!

Specials for Monday, November 28 include $5.00 off a 16" pizza; Play Special: Inside writst band $10: Includes 3 hours of unlimited non-redemption games( includes bowling) $3 play card, one laser tag, and unlimited rock wall, spider zone and bumper cars

Thank you to Mrs. Hinton, the Music Makers, the soloists, and the 5th grade students for a beautiful performance for our veterans. Thank you to Chief Porter and the JROTC and to Chris Fuller and the BCMS Band. Also, we would like to thank our guest speaker, Drew Irvin, for the wonderful presentation. Most importantly, thank you to all of the veterans who have served our country! 

The Health Department has recommended that we do not have outdoor recess until the air quality improves significantly. I am attaching some links that provide helpful tips to limit your family's exposure to the smoke.

www.gonoodle.com is a great alternative to outdoor recess so that our students will still be able to be active but without all of the harmful smoke.
