Mrs. Howard's class sequenced the steps in how to carve pumpkins in their writing today. They used the order and sequence text structure and sequence words to create their How To writing. Students had to follow steps they outlined on sticky notes as a pre-write activity adjusting steps as needed before creating their long writes. Great job Mrs. Howard's class! Congratulations to our Lady Leopards softball team! They are headed to Columbus to compete in the state playoffs! We wish you all the best of luck! While studying the distributive property this week, 3rd grade students completed the Distributive Doctor Activity. This activity helped the students visualize how to effectively use the distributive property to break down a multiplication expression into smaller expressions and get the equal answer. Great job 3rd graders! (Pictured are students from Mrs. Chantay Milford's class) BCES held a celebration to honor the employees of the year! Congratulations to Beth Seay (Paraprofessional of the Year), Lora Millwood (Teacher of the Year), and Ellen Whitfield (Classified Employee of the Year)!!!
