Today Dr. Fuschetti's students went out in the garden and used their measuring skills to divide their garden into square foot units. Students measured length, width, and found the area and perimeter. Working with the local Farm Bureau, they planted several different types of lettuce, broccoli, spinach, kale, and cabbage. Dr. Fuschetti's students are learning to use their mathematical skills while bringing agriculture in the classroom.
